Camp Scholarships!!

The following camps have generously offered scholarships for various awards* at the 2016 JV/Novice Championships in San Francisco. Please check out the websites:

Top Speakers and Champions in Novice and JV Policy Debate may choose from the following scholarships:

Spartan Debate Institute at Michigan State University (http://debate.msu.edu/debate/sdi)

• SDI 2 or 3-week policy camp - $250 scholarship
• SDI 4-week policy camp - $500 scholarship

Emory National Debate Institute at Emory University (http://www.emory.edu/BF/institutes/High_School_ENDI/index.html)

• ENDI 2-week policy camp - $500 scholarship

Michigan Debate Institute at University of Michigan (http://www.michigandebate.com/)

• Michigan 4-week or 7-week (Classic or 7-week program)  - $500 (Close-out in finals results in $250 maximum each person)

Georgeotwn Debate Seminar at Georgetown University (https://georgetowndebate.wordpress.com/apply-now/)

• Georgetown 3-week policy camp - $250

Gonzaga Debate Institute at Gonzaga University (http://gonzagadebate.com/gonzaga-debate-institute/)

• $100 scholarship for each week that the student attends (2, 4 or 5 week policy camps)

Cal Berkeley Debate Institute at UC Berkeley (http://caldebatecamp.com)

Champions in Novice and JV Policy may also choose from the following scholarships: 

Ross K. Smith Debate Workshop at Wake Forest University (http://www.rksatwfu.org) 

• $500 for the 5-week RKS Policy Project or Advanced K Lab

Champions in Novice and JV LD may choose from the following scholarships: 

Cal Berkeley Debate Institute at UC Berkeley (http://caldebatecamp.com)

• Berkeley 3-week LD - $500

Top Speakers and Champions in Novice and JV LD may choose from the following scholarships:

Stanford National Forensic Institute (https://snfi.stanford.edu/)

• $500 for any Lincoln Douglas camp 2 weeks or longer

Champions in Novice and JV PF may choose from the following scholarships:

Cal Berkeley Debate Institute at UC Berkeley (http://caldebatecamp.com)

• Berkeley 2-week PF - $500

Top Speakers and Champions in Novice and JV PF may choose from the following scholarships:

Stanford National Forensic Institute (https://snfi.stanford.edu/)

• $500 for any Public Forum camp 2 weeks or longer

*Note: There are some restrictions/requirements for these scholarships:

1. Scholarships cannot be compounded and cannot be added to financial aid.
2. These scholarships only apply for the specified camp and will not cover cost of another camp.
3. Students must be willing to share their name, address, email, and phone number with all the camps that are listed here to be able to receive the scholarships. You must provide this information to the tabroom at the tournament so that the camps can send you information for applicable scholarships.
4. Scholarships are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Only the student who was awarded the scholarship may use it at the camp that they choose from the list above.
