UPDATED BUS PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Please drop students off at Lamar Hall and park school buses at the Ford Center.

Driving Directions From Hwy 6/278 to the Lamar Hall and to Ford Center

· Take Old Taylor Road Exit and head north towards main campus.

· You will soon come to a round-about but continue north on Old Taylor Road go all the way around the round-about and exit off onto Gertrude Ford Boulevard.

· Continue Straight on Gertrude Ford Boulevard. Then take a left turn onto Alumni Drive off of Gertrude Ford Boulevard. Go straight until you come to a stop sign.

· You will unload the buses. Then take a left onto Grove Loop, Follow it around until you come to a stop sign. Then take a left onto University Avenue. There will be another stop sign, go straight. Follow that then take your next left onto Presidential Debate Way.

· The buses can park at the Ford Center in any parking space they can find. We just ask, please do not block any vehicles in or park any reserved or special postage signage areas.

(Old Instructions)

After unloading students near Lamar Hall, and unless otherwise directed by the Department of Parking and Transportation, all buses should park at the far west end of the Jackson Avenue Center Lot. Afterwards, bus drivers can use the Bronze Line O.U.T. Park-N-Ride service (free of charge) to go to/from the main campus. Groups bringing buses to campus are strongly encouraged to contact DPT (parking@olemiss.edu or 662-915-7235) prior to arrival so individualized instruction and accommodations can be made.

Coaches will need day passes if they bring personal vehicles to park on campus on Friday. Day passes can be obtained from the parking station near the Grove.
