Debate Competition Format

Once again this year, the SF Bay District will use the two-down system for all debate events (LD, PuFo, Policy), whereby debaters/teams are eliminated after suffering their second loss.

In 2021, the SF Bay District has been awarded four slots to the national tournament in each debate event, so the goal of our district qualifying tournament is to determine our four qualifying debaters/teams in each event.
