We would like to formally invite you to the Brookings Bell Speech and Debate Tournament to be held Dec. 15-16 at Brookings High School and Mickelson Middle School. We are offering competition in humorous, dramatic, duet, and program oral interp; novice, international, and domestic extemp; novice and varsity original oratory; informative speaking; novice and varsity LD; novice, junior varsity, and varsity policy; and novice, junior varsity, and varsity public forum debate. 

Sweepstakes will be awarded for the top 3 schools in A and AA based on preliminary and final results of each school’s best entry in every division.

Registration will begin at 1:30 with a general meeting at 2:10. Extemp draw will start at 2:30 in the auditorium. All IEs should begin speaking at 3:00.

Please have entries registered by 5:00, Wednesday, Dec. 13. Fees will be assessed at that time. Drops and name changes can be made through Friday at noon. After that time, please email changes to sally.pies@k12.sd.us.
