                I am excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2017 Bruce Rogers Speech and Debate Tournament at HCHS on September 9th.  Registration for all events is conveniently located at www.bruce.tabroom.com.  HCHS will be the site of ACT testing that weekend. Please register your students as early and accurately as possible as space may be limited.  Registration closes Thursday September 7^th at 4:00pm. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.  My phone number is 478-227-6250.  My email address is james.brock@hcbe.net.  

              Each year, we strive to create an efficient, fair and exciting tournament.   If you register judges for any division, please make sure they have a tabroom.com account.  We would also prefer that all debate judges have a posted paradigm on the tabroom website.  Even if the paradigm simply says "I am a conservative/liberal, welder/homemaker/teacher who has never seen a debate round."  We believe, that knowledge will help students adapt.  If we as a community can train judges how to use the software early in the year, it will help with later tournaments.  

Onsite registration will be from 8:00-8:15am.  First round starts at 8:30am, and awards are scheduled for 6pm. It is unlikely that we will be able to single flight any of the debate events this year.
