Team Utah Field Day

2016 — UT/US

We are so excited that you are considering joining Copper Hills Debate for the First Annual Team Utah Debate Field Day! The point of this event is not to make money or continue the endless competitive slog that we have experienced all year. The aim is to provide a celebratory event that allows our teams to mingle, have fun, and bond as a community.

It is modelled after the old elementary school field days we all have fond memories of. There will be a number of fun games, contests, and events (mostly involving goofy play) that the students may participate in that we will hold at a park. After the preliminary events we will hold a number of group contests. Afterwards everyone gets an Otter Pop! The events are listed below and on the "events" page of this site.

LOCATION:  Taylorsville Park Taylorsville Park 4721 S Redwood Road (1700 W) Taylorsville UT,

DATE AND TIME: May 28, 2016 from 11AM-2PM

FEES (meant to cover costs): $30 per school, $1 per each event a student is registered for.

This can be paid by writing a check to "Copper Hills High School" or bringing cash, please pay by the day of the event.

REGISTRATION: Use Tabroom and sign students up specfically for events. They may enter as many events as they wish.

We are not providing food (other than the otter pops).

EACH School must provide one "judge." Could be a student or adult.

We are renting the park, a number pieces of professional party equipment, organizing the event, providing (almost all) the judges, and providing the Otter Pops.

We are encouraging teams to come up with fun team "uniforms." This is not required but CHHS is going to make tie dye shirts for our squad.
