 There are two high schools on VanAlden, Cleveland HS is the second school.  There are two large parking lots in the front on the school.  Then follow the signs.

Novice Competitor:  Students that are competing for the first year in any Individual Events while in high school.  If they have competed in any of the 13 events listed below in previous years while in high school, they are no longer a novice in IE's.

Patterns:

A Events: Extemp, OA, Expos, DI, OI, Storytelling, SPAR

B Events: Impromptu, OO, OPP, HI, TI, Duo

Except for students doing Extemp, students MAY double enter in either pattern, but their total IE entryis limited to 3 events. This means that a student doing Extemp may not double enter in Pattern A butmay double enter in Pattern B. (Not a good idea for novices to do three events because they aren'tfamiliar with the workings of a tournament; use caution if a student wants to triple enter.)

7:00pm Awards!

Food will be sold between rounds! Please patronize our food sales - do not leave campus. If you miss your round, you will be dropped from the event.

Fees: IE’s are $10.00 per event and $20.00 for Duos. Please include your league dues, $100, if youhave not already paid it. Make checks payable to Tri-County Forensics League.

Judges: Each school is obligated to provide one qualified judge per every 10 IE’s, or fraction thereof. Varsity students may judge.
