Welcome to the 2026–2027 Dogwood Speech & Debate League season!

We are excited to begin another year of competition with DSDL #1 at Pinecrest High School on Saturday, September 26, 2026. We look forward to welcoming students, coaches, judges, and families back for a new season of learning, competition, and community.

Please Review the DSDL Manual

There are several changes for the 2026–2027 season, and coaches, competitors, and judges should carefully review the current DSDL Manual before attending the tournament.

The manual contains the rules, procedures, event requirements, and league policies that will govern DSDL competition this season. Please do not rely solely on procedures or expectations from previous years, as a number of updates have been made.

Coaches are responsible for making sure that their students and judges are familiar with the rules that apply to their events.

Our goal is to provide students with a competitive experience that is educational, welcoming, and professionally run. Thank you to our coaches, judges, volunteers, and hosts for making these opportunities possible.

We are excited to kick off the new season and wish all of our competitors the very best at DSDL #1!
