The Anthony High School Speech and Debate program would like to welcome you to"Dungeons and Debates: A Anthony Wildcat Tournament"

The tournament will be IN-PERSON at Anthony High School on September 18/19, 2026.

We will be offering the complete set of events in IE’s and LD, PF, and Congressional debate. If any events fail to meetqualifying numbers, then the event will be dropped.

LD Topic: Resolved: Outer space colonization is a moral imperative.

PF Topic: The United States federal government should enact a moratorium on hyperscale data center construction.

Congressional Debate will be debating the following pieces of legislation from the TFA Fall 2026 Docket.

Prelims: 30, 28, 26, 24, 22 (in that order)

Finals: 21, 23, 25, 27, 29 (in that order unless the chamber chooses to rearrange it using proper procedure)

Please refer to the schedule for event times and cross entry rules. All cross-entries areat the student’s own risk. If a student does not make their round on-time they may bedropped, regardless of the reason. Out-rounds will be paneled only if we have enoughjudges available. We will break brackets in debate out-rounds.We will do our best to accelerate the schedule if/when possible, so please pay closeattention to the postings and updates.

Anthony students will be competing at their own tournament.

Student Congress will take place in the High School Gym, Library, and Auditorium. Signs will be posted for convenience.
