Dear Coaches and Competitors,

The MMSDL is welcoming you to our season opener (Tournament 1). Our first tournament will be held October 24th at ACS.

For many of you, this will be your first tournament. I know it’s a bit scary, but we will make this as easy for you as possible. Don’t worry- you will get the hang of it by the end of round two.

To all of you, this is the start of this year’s debate journey. You will sharpen your skills, make friends (both on your team and with others), learn more about this year’s topic that you ever want to know, and create more memories than you can imagine.

MMSDL Core Files
Campbrain payment link (also on your invoices). All payments must be completed via Campbrain or a check handed to Mr. Y at the tournament

The MMSDL is committed to providing a safe environment for our debaters. Please make sure you read the links above.

Levels:

The first three levels below use the MMSDL Core Files listed above. Make sure you check the argument limits

Novice: This division is for first year debaters.

JV: This is for second year debaters or for advanced first year debaters who want a challenge.

Varsity: This is for debaters in their third or fourth year of debating.

Open (High School): This division is open to all debaters looking for a maximum level of challenge. The Open Division uses high school times and limits to prepare debaters for the national tournaments (Michigan, Harvard, MSTOC, etc.)

Registration Information
