Permian High School's MOJO Speech & Debate team and Legacy High School would like to invite you to our Friday Night Lights TFA Swing! We will be hosting all events for the tournament at Permian High School on Friday, Oct 23rd and Saturday, Oct 24th. We will be offering all IE's (except Extemporaneous Speaking or DUO Impromptu) and Congress on both sides of the swing, and are also highly encouraging schools to participate in Public Forum Debate!

Schools will have access to the building through the main entrance located on 42nd Street and all vehicles will able to stay in the main parking lot. Students will be housed in our cafeteria located directly past the main entrance, and Tab will be in the Library across the main , or "M," hall.

Patterns for IE's will be the same in both sides of the swing:

Pattern A - HI, DX, FX, Poetry, Duo, Impromptu
Pattern B - OO, INFO, DI, POI, Prose, Duo Impromptu

LD will be using the NSDA Sep-Oct Topic: Outer space colonization is a moral imperative.
PF will be using the NSDA Sep-Oct Topic: The United States federal government should enact a moratorium on hyperscale data center construction
CX will be using the NSDA Topic: The United States federal government should establish national health insurance in the United States
Congress will be using the following TFA Fall Legislation:
Prelims: 21, 22, 23, 24, & 25
Finals: 26, 27, 28, 29, & 30

Entry fees are $10.00 for PF and Congress, $15.00 for IEs, Duo, Duet, and $20.00 for LD and CX.
Both Permian and Legacy will be competing in events as students' TFA points are needed.
