The Kingwood High School Speech & Debate program is excited to invite you to the Kingwood Mustangs Spring Classic TFA/NIETOC, hosted January 8–9, 2026.

As the first tournament of the spring semester in the Houston area, the Spring Classic is a great opportunity to kick off the new year with quality competition, reconnect with our speech and debate community, and give students another opportunity to grow as speakers, performers, thinkers, and competitors.

Our goal is to provide a tournament that is competitive, educational, efficient, and welcoming for students and coaches alike. Whether your students are working toward qualification, building experience for the remainder of the season, or stepping into competition for the first time, we look forward to having them on our campus.

The tournament will offer competition in TFA qualifying events, with opportunities for NIETOC qualification in eligible events. Additional tournament details including the schedule, event offerings, entry limits, fees, judging requirements, and registration deadlines are available throughout this Tabroom site.

We know that a successful tournament depends on the time and effort of coaches, judges, students, volunteers, and families. We appreciate you choosing to spend the beginning of your spring semester with us, and our Kingwood team will work hard to provide a positive tournament experience for everyone who attends.

We are excited to welcome you to Kingwood and look forward to two great days of competition.
