You're invited to the SJA Novice Jamboree!

The SJA Novice Jamboree a "limited-services" Novice tournament. (I'll be running this without most of my team helping, so expect very few frills beyond a few desks and wifi.).

8:00, 9:30, 11:00, 1:00.

You have to bring a judge for every 2 entries. They can be adults of any experience level or 3rd/4th year competent debaters who are willing to be positive and helpful. All the ballots will be done on tabroom; your judges need to be able to fill out ballots online without my help.

This is a "Novice Packet" event. You may use any card in the packet and re-tag and-rehighlight them as you see fit. Don't change plan texts. This is normal packet stuff.

Pizza is included in your entry fee for all players/judges/coaches, but do not expect any other hospitality. All other helpers/fans/entourage should pay for their lunch. Mark both free and paid lunches on the concessions screen.

Schools are allowed up to 6 entries, assuming you can make the judge burden. Sweepstakes is based on your best 4 entries.

I am planning on entering some of my own novice teams in this tournament; they will debater for neutral judges. SJA will be eligible for normal wins and losses, but we will decline any medals or sweeps eligibility.

SJA has a curiously small school building and we may "sell out". Also, our building is double-booked this day, so plan on not having a good "campsite"; you'll probably be squatting awkwardly in the hallways. Sorry. You're welcome to pack a lawn chair.
