Welcome to the Lion's Den

The Mountain Ridge Lions are pleased to invite you to the Lion's Den Debate Tournament on Saturday, October 10th 2026.

The tournament will offer:

• • Congressional Debate (Legislation should be submitted by September 25th, 2026 - Save in PDF Format before uploading, please.)
  • Varsity and Novice LD (Novice will use the Novice Sept/Oct topic - National Service, Varsity will use the regular Sept/Oct topic - Space Colonization)
  • Varsity and Novice PF (Will use the Sept/Oct NSDA PF Topic - Data Centers)
  • Policy Debate (Will use the NFHS 26-27 topic - Healthcare. The division is open, but debaters should restrict themselves to the NDCA Novice Packet Fewer than 4 entries from 2 or more schools may result in cancellation)
  • World Schools Debate (We are excited to offer WSD to the community this year, prepared resolutions will be posted soon. 3 to 5 debaters/entry.)
