Scholars of Speech Summer Slam

THE LOCATION: 17052 Gillette Ave, Irvine, CA 92614
The tournament will offer competition for elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Middle schoolers (seven and eighth grade) can judge elementary schoolers.
- High schoolers (tenth through twelfth grade) can judge middle schoolers.
- Parents/community judges can judge any division.
If you want to judge without competing at all, please sign up on the 'judge registration' tab above.
Students may triple enter in speech events (including SPAR). We do not recommend triple-entering if one of your categories is Congress.
Public speaking awards will follow the GOLD/SILVER/BRONZE system familiar in the California Community College Forensics Association tournaments.
CONGRESS TOPICS ARE HERE - SAME AS ELEMENTARY SUMMER NOF TOPICS.

Middle/High School Events:
Ten-Minute Public Address (EXP/INFO/OO), Ten-Minute Acting (DEC/OPP/PRO/POE/STY), Impromptu, Spontaneous Argumentation, Congress
