Dear Coaches,

You and your team are cordially invited to the Abilene Cowboy Forensics Invitational on February 28^th. Events are $5 for individual events and $10 for partner events.

Each school is limited to 16 entries. Each student is limited to 3 events, and no student may enter two draw events unless one is impromptu. Schools are asked to provide a judge for every 6 entries or a portion thereof. Schools will be allowed 16 entries, but will be given extras based on space and judge availability. Please limit category entries to 4 per school. Additions may be added upon request.

We will offer the following 4A events:

Serious Solo Acting

Duet Acting

Original Oration

POI

Poetry

Impromptu

Schedule:

Draw events will begin drawing 15 minutes prior to the beginning of each round.

Saturday, February 28^th

Registration: 7:30am-8:00am

Round 1: 8:00-9:30am

Round 2: 9:30-11:00am

Round 3: 11:00-12:30pm

Lunch: 12:30-1:00pm

Final Draw: 1:00pm

Final Round: 1:30-3:00pm

Awards: ASAP

KSHSAA rules are in effect. Grievances will be handled by a committee assembled by the tournament director. Medals will go to the top six entries in each event, and plaques will be awarded to the top 3 schools in sweeps. If your team is interested, please provide your team entries by Saturday, February 21st, 2026.
