1. We have admitted all registered autoqual and regional bid teams off of the waitlist, and have distributed wildcard bids. There may be some additional wildcard bids, but te number is likely to be small.
2. In order to increase the size of the judge pool, we are encouraging schools to bring additional judges beyond their obligation. We would be happy to waive team registration fees in exchange.
3. We are increasing the judge hire fee to $600 this year, to better cover our costs.
4. We are also establishing anentourage rule similar to the one found at the Kentucky Tournament of Champions. All coaches and adult chaperones who are at the tournament but not otherwise registered to judge may be asked to judge up to two rounds.

The culminating celebration of high school parliamentary debate in the United States each season in early April, the NPDL-TOC is distinguished by excellence in competition, expertise in judging, and exemplary administrative leadership. Students earn the opportunity to compete by earning qualification points at NPDL sanctioned tournaments, or receiving at-large bids by application. Learn more about the tournament here.
