You are cordially invited to Winter Async Scrimmage

This is an asynchronous speech tournament to allow students to get more ballots as the 2026 speech season warms up, we notice a lack of tournaments this week and wanted to fill the gap. We welcome schools, clubs, and independent entries however we currently have a cap placed at 50 entries to allow us to offer their tournament completely free of charge. However, if demand is there we will consider changing this to a paid tournament and having more entries.

Events: Extemporaneous (Combined), Interp (Dramatic/Humorous/Duo), Impromptu, Informative, Original Oratory/Declamation, Program Oral Interp, Prose/Poetry, Other Speech. Each event will hold 4 preliminary rounds.

Other speech can include any submissions from any speech category and will be judged together as a group, their event type should be clearly labeled.

For limited prep events one video with one prompt should be submitted.

Judging: Schools must provide one judge for every five entries. We accept student judges however they must have 1000 NSDA points to ensure quality. There is a 50$ fee for missed rounds, this will be enforced.
