Welcome to the first year of the Austin High and McCallum annual swing invitational! While we hope to expand this tournament to be a true swing experience in the future, this year will feature a limited start, featuring only an Austin High tournament (so not actually a swing). ALL EVENTS WILL BE HELD ONLINE via the NSDA Virtual Campus, and all events will be held on Saturday. We will only be featuring single divisions (open) for debate events including Public Forum, Policy, LD and World Schools, as well as Congress, DI, HI, DUO, DUET, INFO, OO, POI, DX and IX.

We've got a very healthy list of confirmed judges, but we DO count on schools doing their best to fulfill their judge obligations. This will allow us to run the tournament smoothly and adhere to the posted schedule. With hired judges, it also means that everyone will benefit from a large judge pool (I expect school judges, especially coaches, won't need to be utilized as much). As is typical, school judges are obligated to be available until 1 round beyond that school's furthest-advancing competitor (so all judges are obligated through the first elimination round in their event).
