Georgia Speech Series 2 Asynchronous
2025 — Online, GA/US
Main
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to kick off the fourth annual series of asynchronous speech scrimmages for your programs. While there are a lot of new asynchronous opportunities this season, we pride ourselves in running a mission-focused, student-first scrimmage for your students.
FEES
The Georgia Speech Series is designed to offerFREEopportunities for individual events in Georgia in an effort to grow these events. Out of state schools are welcome to participate but will be charged a fee of $5 per entry that must be paid prior to competing in the tournament.
JUDGING OBLIGATIONS
Regardless of geography, all schools will be asked to enter judges to cover entries – you will owe 1 round of judging for every 1 entries. This is your preliminary round commitment and does not include a final round placement. It is important to understand that each round of judging will require about one hour fifteen minutes of watching students and providing feedback. We recommend that each judge fulfill 2 or 3 rounds, but do not want to limit it in case you have folks who can judge more.
In an effort to produce high quality feedback, judges will have 48+ hours to adjudicate rounds from students. We ask that schools enter head coaches and qualified judges (or alumni) to help judge rounds.
If you would like to hire judging, you can hire for $20/round.
