Registration Fees, Scoring Expectation, and Concessions Availab

In order to facilitate the hosting of this UIL Academics Invitational, there will be a $10 per entry fee for all tested events. This will pay for the testing materials from UIL, compensate Contest Directors for their time facilitating their events, provide a modest hospitality suite, and cover any other costs incurred by our campus to make this event a reality. After entering your campus roster of competitors, you'll receive a confirmation of that entry from us with an invoice for those entries. We understand that there are processes for each campus in order to pay invoices, but we also have expenses associated with hosting that we will be paying before the contest and shortly thereafter, so prompt payment of invoices is appreciated. Any invoices that have gone unpaid after a reasonable processing time has elapsed will be forwarded to campus leadership at the responsible campus/school for their follow-up.

Additionally, each school competing in any one event is expected to make available at least 1 adult (likely the school's event sponsor) to participate in scoring and verification of that event's entries and results.

During our UIL Academics Invitational, our campus will be hosting another event - a Junior High / Middle School speech and debate contest. While the competition spaces will be separated for both events, we will share the Clear Falls Commons space for both groups, which will allow UIL Academics competitors to have access to the Concessions stand servicing both events. The Concessions stand will be run by the Clear Falls Debate, Speech, and Interp Teams as a fundraiser, so we encourage everyone to support it. It will have a wide assortment of snack foods, as well as items appropriate for breakfast and lunch, priced reasonably for all to enjoy.
