The freedom of speech should not protect hate speech.
California should pass a right-to-die law.

*The U.S. should not intervene in foreign wars.  

*Debated by all teams on both prop and opp during rounds 1 & 2.  

Schedule:

Registration: 8:00-8:25

(All students, coaches and judges should arrive by 8:10. All teams must be checked in by their coaches by 8:25. Judges will check in at a separate judges’ table.)

Welcome/Opening remarks: 8:40

Round 1: 9:00

Round 2: 10:25

Lunch: 11:45

Round 3: 12:45

Round 4: 2:30

Awards: 4:30

Departure: 5:00

Entries:

Each league has received 30 entries.  Please email your league President if you need to confirm the number of entries allowed for your school.

Registration deadline is Friday, March 13^th at 3:00 p.m.

Judges:

Schools MUST provide at least one previously certified judge (for four debates) for every two teams registered. If your judges do not wish to judge all four rounds, be sure to include this in your calculation.

Please bring flow sheets for you own teams and judges. 

Food:

Lunch will be served at a price of $8 per person.   2 coaches per team are free.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to prevent major over ordering, each coach will be responsible for paying for the number of lunches they indicate during online registration.  Cash or check is accepted. Please make checks payable to Chaminade.
