Green Canyon High School would like to invite you to its third and final iteration of the Green Canyon Howl Tournament, held on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Competitors are encouraged to wear a Halloween costume, and a special prize will be given to the school with the most participation! (No masks or weapons, please)

Congress:
The Docket will be published by October 01, 2025.
Public Forum:
Resolved: The UK should rejoin the European Union.
Lincoln-Douglas:
Resolved: In the US criminal justice system, plea bargaining is just.
Policy:
Resolved: The United States federal government should significantly increase its exploration and/or development of the Arctic.
Please note that Impromptu will NOT be an event offered at this tournament.
Awards:
Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in every event. Halloween themed baskets will be presented to the three schools that win sweeps.
Judges:
One judge is required for every 5 entries of portion thereof, in individual events and congress. One judge is required for every 3 teams of portion thereof in Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas. One judge is needed for every 2 teams or portion thereof in Policy. If you bring Policy teams, bring judges who know what they are doing. If you do not bring judges, you will be fined or teams will be dropped.
Food:
Green Canyon will provide light refreshments, snacks, and lunch on Saturday, for coaches and judges. Please let the event organizer know if you have any dietary restrictions by September 19, 2025.
Students may DoorDash food - just be sure to enter instructions to leave at the Auditorium/Gym doors.
Entry Limits:
Entries will be limited to four in each event. Extra entries must be approved; otherwise, they will not be accepted. No double-entries allowed.
Tabroom and Judge’s Room
Tabroom will be located in the computer room inside of the media center (library). The Judge’s room will be in the media center (library), and food will be provided for Coaches and Judges. Please bring a computer or iPad to enter your results and feedback on Tab.
