This is the first CBSR Individual Events/Lincoln Douglas tournament of the 2025-2026 year.

KEY INFORMATION AND UPDATES: PLEASE READ!!!

1. The event patterns have switched. Please note that the patterns for this tournament are as follows:

A: Extemporaneous, Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Declamation, Informative, Original Advocacy

B: Lincoln Douglas, Impromptu, Humorous Interpretation, Program Oral Interpretation, Original Oratory, Original Prose and Poetry

2. Extemp prep will begin PROMPTLY at 8:30 AM. If students are not on time, they run the risk of losing their opportunity to participate or being disqualified from the tournament. Please make sure that any, and all entries in Extemporaneous Speaking are at the extemp prep room at 8:20 AM.

3. We are piloting a judge schedule system. Judges are expected to check in AND check out at registration to pick up their schedules for the day.

4. Under all circumstances, this tournament discourages double dipping judges in the judge pool. However, there will be three checkpoints where I look at the numbers to see whether this tournament will be able to unlock double dipping judges. If the numbers are bad, I will not unlock it.
