East High School Novice Night

East High School invites you to participate in a night of novice only competition on November 11th 2025.

We will be hosting novice rounds of all main IE events, spontaneous speaking, LD, PF, Congress, and Policy assuming we have sufficient entries to hold rounds. There will be two rounds of competition in every event except Congress and Policy who will have one round of competition. We will be using the November/December topics to help students prepare for the Bettendorf and North High School Tournaments. The congress docket will contain 2 bills from each tournament.

The schedule will be as follows.

Round One begins at 4:30PM

Round Two begins at 5:45PM

A third round of speech may be assigned if time permits.
