Dear fellow Speech & Debate Coaches, Students, and Parents

The Oak Grove High School Warrior Debate Team is thrilled to invite and welcome you to the 22nd Annual Warrior Invitational, which will take place on the Oak Grove High School campus from October 31^st to November 1^st. We hope you will enjoy yourselves as we take a weekend to enjoy each other’s company and begin another tremendous competitive season.

The Warrior Invitational will offer Policy Debate, Varsity and Novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Varsity and Novice Public Forum Debate, and Congressional Debate. Congressional Debate will be fully provided on Saturday, allowing debaters to compete in two Debates. Congress would be in place of Individual Events at our tournament. So, Congress competitors may compete in debate events rather than individual events.

We are also pleased to announce that the Warrior Invitational is a qualifying tournament for the 2025 National Individual Events Tournament of Champions (NIETOC), which will occur May 2026, in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Note that novice events exist in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, Extemporaneous Speaking, Prose Interpretation, and Poetry Interpretation. The rules and regulations for the tournament, including novice regulations, are located in this tournament program. Please take the time to read through these so we may all do our best to make this the smoothest-running tournament possible. We hope you enjoy your time here in Warrior Territory and will join us yearly for an exciting speech competition weekend.
