*As possible, the Tournament Director will work to expedite the tournament, i.e., if no LD/PF competitorsare entered in IE finals, elimination rounds will be accelerated. Look for announcements as elimination rounds progress.

* We know that awards are late on Saturday, this allows us to balance the rigor of TOC requirements (6 debate prelims and 3 speech) while abiding by UHSAA guidelines for competition, and the two-day schedule. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will take advantage of the extra time on campus. We also hope that adding an extra round for speech and debate competitors supports them as they begin the new season. We will make an effort to provide alternative activities to engage students into the evening.

* When not in competition, students should make themselves at home in the University of Utah StudentUnion. There, they will find pool tables, air hockey, televisions, couches, bowling, and more.
