Alma Momma Moore Debate Invitational

2025 — Newton, KS/US

INVITATION

Dear Coach:

You and your squad are cordially invited to the 2025 Alma “Momma” Moore Debate Invitational
at Newton High School, 900 W. 12th, Newton, KS 67114, on October 18, 2025. The tournament
will feature Novice, JV and Open Divisions. Novices will be limited to the NDCA Novice Caselist.

Entries are $6 per team. We plan to have a concession stand that has a lunch deal; more information will be provided closer to the tournament.

The tournament will be four rounds. In addition to medals for the top 8 teams in each division, we will attempt to continue our tradition of speaker awards in each division, as well. All entries will be waitlisted and will not be removed from the waitlist until debater names are added.

KSHSAA rules are in effect unless the invitation or tournament communication notes exceptions. Third and fourth year debaters may judge novice rounds.

We hope to see you on October 18 in Newton. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
