Beaver High School

Invitation: We are pleased to invite you to Beaver Battles, to be held in person at Beaver High School on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Registration is now open!

Events:

Speech events will include Oratory, Informative, U.S. Extemp., Int'l Extemp., HI, DI, POI, Duo, Storytelling, Poetry, SpAr, Character SpAr, TV News Anchor, and Panhandling.

Debate events will include CX, PF, LD, BQ, and Old School Congress.

Schedule: The opening ceremony and welcome film will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the auditorium. The judges' meeting will also begin at 7:45 a.m. in room 119. The tournament starts with three rounds of Speech at 8 a.m., followed by three rounds of debate starting at 1 p.m., continuing until awards at 5:45 p.m. More information will become available as the tournament gets closer.

Awards: Our hand-crafted wooden medals will be awarded six-deep. In addition, our famous chewed-off beaver log sweepstakes trophies will be awarded to the top three Big Schools (4A-6A) as well as the top three small schools (1A-3A). But most importantly, back by popular demand is the Best Dam Beaver Award, presented to the student who receives the most wins in the most events at the tournament (students must be registered by their coaches in the BDB category to be eligible to compete).

CUSDC 3: The event is part 3 of the Central Utah Speech & Debate Circuit. However, everyone is invited to attend!
