Dear Speechies and Debaters:

BHS would like to invite you to our March Student Congress. We hope that you will be able to attend this congress to prepare you for your District and State Torunaments.

The tournament will start at 4:15 pm and we expect to wrap up by 9 pm. There will be two sessions for maximum speaking times with a break for dinner in between. Students should bring their own dinner or money to get dinner on their own. Dairy Queen is down the street, a coffee house 2 blocks away (Ava) and there is a Vietnamese sandwich shop across the street and many more options on Between Hall & Watson Streets OR Igawa can take your order for Costco Pizza.

Requirements:
We require each team to bring one judge.
The fee for a student to attend will be $7.
Please have legislation to speak on written by students from your school. Submit them to Igawa by the registration due date. Igawa will put together a packet of legislation Friday afternoon for use in competition. If not enough legislation is submitted, then the NSDA legislation will be added to the packet. 


Registration deadline is February 28, Friday.

Awards:
Medals will be given to first, second and third speakers in each house.

We will have yummy snacks and lite dinner for those who come to judge.

Directions to the school can be found on Mapquest or Google Maps. Registration and Judges Lounge will be in room 110.
