Logistics

1. D4 and D5 will share a tournament space, schedule and judge pool.
2. But D4 and D5 tournaments will be completely separate, meaning that no D4 teams will debate D5 teams - teams will only debate teams from their district, who are not from their school. D4 and D5 will adhere to their respective bylaws.
3. All teams must be cleared by the NDT committee as eligible for districts participation.

Judging

1. Both districts, according to their bylaws, will use 3-person panels for each round.
2. Strike cards will be randomly generated by tabroom, and each team in the round will have the opportunity to strike up to 1 judge on their card.
3. Something different this year - We are going to do all the strike cards on Friday, the day before the tournament starts, for any preset rounds.
4. Judge Commitments - each team entered will carry with them an obligation for the school to commit 4 rounds of judging per every 2 prelim rounds.
