Central Texas NSDA World Schools

2025 — San Antonio, TX/US

Welcome to the Central Texas NSDA World Schools debate Tabroom Page.

This tournament is open to paid members of the Central Texas #83 District in the NSDA.

We have a tentative schedule based on anticipated entry levels. We do not plan on hosting a final round since both of those teams will be qualified.

Motion:

  1. This House supports the removal of Russia from the United Nations Security Council.

Context: This debate examines the potential removal of Russia from the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), where it holds a permanent seat with veto power. Proponents argue that Russia’s actions undermine international peace and security, particularly through aggression and non-compliance with UN principles. Opponents contend that removing Russia could destabilize global diplomacy, set a dangerous precedent, and marginalize a major global power, hindering cooperative resolutions to international conflicts.

Prepared rounds will be for the Prop and Opp sides of this resolution.

Other rounds will be impromptu motions announced at the tournament.
