The qualifications for this tournament are based on what is outlined inthis document. Essentially, qualifying debaters must beranked within the top 40 varsity debaters or top 20 novice debaters. If a school has an odd number of qualifying debaters, they may pull up the next-highest ranked debater from their school. Please note that hybrid and maverick entries will not be allowed.All qualified teams must register on Tabroom by May 12th, and will be taken off the waitlist thereafter. Late registration will not be permitted.

Teams that have not qualified may submit a wildcard bid usingthis form. Bids are due May 12th. Wildcard applicants will be notified on May 14th regarding whether they’ve been accepted into the tournament.

Please note that we will be running six preliminary rounds, and that judging burden for this tournament will be one judge per each team. More information regarding all of this can be found on the invite for the tournament.
