Who is Eligible: Any student in grades 4-8 who is registered through their school.

Judges:

1 judge per 1 to 5 speech or congress entries

1 judge per 1 to 2 debate entries (separate judges for LD vs PF).

All judges are expected to stay for the entire tournament. Judges can be parents, teachers, community members, or experienced high school students.

Tournament Format/Schedule:

3:15-3:50- Registration

4:00-5:00 Round 1

5:00-6:00 Round 2

6:00-7:00 Round 3

ASAP: Awards

Because of the schedule of this tournament, there will be no double entry between events. Awards will happen after Round 3 and all participants (both students and judges) will get free pizza.

Live Doc:

A Live Doc will be published the week of the event with an overview of tournament rules and resources. This google document will be updated throughout the tournament and will serve as a way to communicate with all participants on the day of the event.
