Public Forum, varsity and novice divisions - January NSDA topic: “Resolved: The African Union should grant diplomatic recognition to the Republic of Somaliland as an independent state.”

Lincoln Douglas, novice division - Revised January February topic: “Resolved: The United States ought to become party to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.” We have omitted “Law of the Sea” to focus the debate for novices.

Lincoln Douglas, varsity division - November NSDA topic: “Resolved: The United States ought to adopt a wealth tax.” We have chosen this topic as better aligned with the type of resolutions debated at NCFLs.

Big Questions - National topic: “Resolved: Creativity is a more powerful force than intelligence.”
