International member schools in countries without established NSDA districts will be able to participate in this online competition on Tabroom.com using NSDA Campus to qualify students to attend the National Tournament.  Schools and students must have current paid membership to participate, and students must compete as representatives of their school. The district tournament will offer Public Forum Debate, Original Oratory, and International Extemporaneous Speaking. All debating and speaking, including evidence, citations, and scripts, will be conducted in English, and schools will be expected to provide NSDA-trained judges to adjudicate during the competition. 

This tournament will use the January 2025 Public Forum topic "Resolved: The African Union should grant diplomatic recognition to the Republic of Somaliland as an independent state."

Original Oratory will be asynchronous.  Asynchronous videos must follow the expectations as outlined in the High School Unified Manual.
