World Schools Motions and Information

MOTIONS ARE TENTATIVE, PLEASE CHECK OFTEN:

NOTES: We will not be doing impromptu motions. The schedule for the tournament in WS has been updated below.

Preliminary Rounds

Round 1: This House, as the United States of America, supports Ukraine joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

Round 2: This House believes that in general, court proceedings of any kind should not be broadcast over television, social media, or other real-time outlets.

Round 3: This House supports the notion that the many governments of the world have an obligation to fight terrorism not just within their borders, but globally.

Round 4: This House, as the commissioner and controlling party of the National Basketball Association (NBA), would veto and undo the recent trade between the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Utah Jazz, where Luka Doncic went to the Lakers and Anthony Davis went to the Mavericks.

Elimination Round

Finals: This House, as the United States of America, believes the Constitution must be rewritten as a whole.
