Rules

Internet Access
As perNSDA rules internet access for research or to access files is allowed in round. Outside or external communication is not. Students may only communicate with their partner.
Evidence
As per NSDA rules full cards or excerpts of evidence with citations and original available sources are required in round if called for. If it is an internet article with a paywall please use archive.ph to access. If it is a book you must have at least a copy or photo of the previous page, current page, and next page.
Evidence Exchange
For evidence exchange, students have 30 seconds to find their piece of evidence. After 30 seconds have elapsed if they still have not found their evidence Prep Time begins to drain from the team looking for their own evidence. If a student takes longer than 30 seconds to find their own evidence and is out of Prep Time that evidence is struck from the round. Once the requesting team receives the evidence via the evidence exchange they must take Prep time if they wish to read that evidence or read it during a speech/cross. No "off-time" reading of evidence.
Judging
-
You must have 1 judge per 2 teams. This allows for single flights.
-
Judges are obligated for at least the first out round even if their school or students do not break.
-
Judges must be adults. No high school students are allowed.
-
A judge must have a working camera. If your camera is off more than 5 minutes in a round you will be considered absent and will be dropped from the tournament. Every year for the last 4 years of digital debate there have been incidents of high school students judging for “adults” on online tournaments or adults who do not listen to the debate with their cameras off. This is to mitigate that issue. If your judge has technical difficulties those need to be resolved by the next round or your team will have to forfeit entries due to the judging problem.
-
Judges do not have to disclose feedback or results but they are required to enter an RFD and at least 25 words of feedback. Judges may disclose results, feedback, and publish results.
George Washington High School (CO) invites you to attend their online Patriot Games-Public Forum TOC Bid Tournament. Our Tabroom page will only offer PF online. All other events will be hosted on Speech Wire.
TOC Bids
This is a TOC Gold Bid at the Finals Level and TOC SIlver Bid at the Semi-Final Level.
Location
All rounds will take place on NSDA Campus. Please trouble shoot to make sure your audio and video have permission access. You can test this in the "Test NSDA Room" on the right side of the homepage.
