Prepared Speaking Information

NOTE: It is not necessary to upload copies of speeches this year, but if there is a protest, schools are expected to produce a flat copy of the speech in question to the Ombudsperson promptly. In the event of a protest, original oratories and informative speeches must have a works cited (MLA Format) page.

Original Oratory and Informative - All quoted material must be underlined and/or printed in red. Quoted material may not exceed 150 words.

Deadline:

• March 3, at 5:00 PM CST – All original oratories and informative speeches must have titles submitted ONLINE on the 2025 TFA State tabroom.com registration website.
