TFA State

2025 — Jordan High School, TX/US

Welcome to TFA State 2025! - PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE AS IT HAS CHANGED AS OF 3/5; DO NOT ARRIVE AT JHS UNTIL 3:00PM ON THURS./FRI.

Congratulations on qualifying for the 2025 Texas Forensic Association’s State Tournament. The TFA State Tournament is one of the largest of its kind and marks the culmination of the competitive TFA season. Over 1,500 students from all five TFA regions attend the tournament each year. To qualify this year, students must earn at least twelve points in at least one TFA event. Additionally, qualifiers in speech, debate, and performance events are eligible for college scholarships. The average qualifier for this prestigious tournament commits hundreds of practice hours to their specific event(s).

The Texas Forensic Association is committed to encouraging students to become effective communicators, critical thinkers, and engaged, ethical members of our democratic society. Our organization is growing rapidly, as there are over 200 active TFA member schools.

Each year, the tournament is hosted by one of the five TFA regions. Our hosts, TFA state coordinator, and EC members have been steadily preparing to make it a memorable contest. I would like to thank our wonderful EC members and their efforts to make it a safe tournament for all who will be in attendance.

Once again, congratulations on making it to the TFA State Tournament.
