Hello, CEDA community!

We are excited to welcome you to the beautiful Rutgers University-Newark Campus for the 2025 CEDA National Championship Tournament. This tournament will be held from March 19 to March 23, 2025. Please see the Tournament Invitation for all relevant information. There are also some quick links below:

Tournament Hotel:

UPDATE - The hotel block is now CLOSED. If you need help finding accommodations, please contact me via email at devanemdebate [at] gmail.com.

Parking:

Parking for the event will be located on the Parking Deck IV. The garage address is 134 Washington St, Newark, NJ 07102.

CEDA Business Meeting

The CEDA Business Meeting will begin on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 am. The Zoom link to the meeting is here.

College Fair:

I’m excited to announce that after the CEDA business meeting on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM, Rutgers University-Newark will host a College Fair featuring some of the top high school debaters from the Newark Debate Academy and the surrounding region!

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with rising debate talent, introduce them to your programs, and share insights about college debate opportunities. If you'd like to participate, please fill out this form.

Food Forms

Please complete this dietary form for your entries (students and judges) attending CEDA in person by Friday, March 14th.

Other Details:

Opening ceremonies will occur Wednesday, March 19 at 6 PM EST in Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall, 15 Washington St, Newark, NJ 07102.

Awards will occur on Saturday, March 22 at 6 PM EST in Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall, 15 Washington St, Newark, NJ 07102.

Finals will be held on campus on Sunday, March 23.
