Pro/Con Debate Challenge
If you are unable to join us in person, I would hope that you would be willing to have students participate through the asynchronous Pro/Con Debate Challenge event. The event requires that a student submits a recording of no more than 10 minutes of them reading a pro case and a con case on the same topic. More information will be found on the Pro/Con Debate Challenge tab on the public tabroom page.

-
All judges will be required to submit a paradigm. Any school that does not have a paradigm submitted will be unable to enter strikes.
-
As we have been doing at our invitational tournaments, all records will be released throughout the tournament. When the next round is paired, the results of the previous round will be released.
-
The tournament will consist of 6 preliminary rounds, single-flighted with one judge. Any team with a record of 4-2 or better will clear to elimination rounds. If our numbers are similar to past years, we anticipate this will mean breaking to a partial double-octofinal round. Any student or team that advances to elimination rounds will receive an award.
Congress
-
We will hold a semi-final round if we have 64 or more entries. If we are under 64, then we will break straight to a final round.
-
Each school may bring up to 10 competitors.
-
Legislation will be due on January 31st.
