UHSAA 2A REGIONS 15 & 18 COMBINED TOURNAMENT

Participating Teams:

Region 15 includes North Sevier High School, Gunnison Valley High School, Grand High School, North Summit High School, Duchesne High School, and San Juan High School.

Region 18 includes Beaver High School, Enterprise High School, Kanab High School, Millard High School, Parowan High School, St. George Academy, and Water Canyon High School

Registration opens on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 6:00 a.m. and closes Friday, Feb. 21 at 2:30 p.m.

Events:

Debate events will include Congress, LD Debate, PF Debate, and Spontaneous Argumentation, using the March NSDA topics for LD and PF. Congress will follow the UDCA State Docket posted on this website and linked at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fR80uyzcHKPF3hBfEceRF4DTFeBDxMDF .

Speech events will include Combined Interp., Oratory, Impromptu, and Combined Extemp., with the January, February, and March NFHS and NSDA topics used for Extemp.

1:30 p.m. Round 1 Speech

2:45 p.m. Round 1 Debate

4:15 p.m. Round 2 Speech

5:30 p.m. Round 2 Debate

7:00 p.m. Awards

Double Entry and Event Caps:

Students may enter no more than one speech event and one debate event. No more than six student entries per school may compete in SpAr, Congress, Combined Extemp., Combined Interp., Oratory, and Impromptu. No more than four entries per school may compete in LD Debate and PF Debate.
