The Forensics team at Graves County High School would like to invite you to attend the Graves County JR and SR Eagle Invitational tournament on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Mayfield, KY. Our goal is to offer an opportunity for healthy competition and critique as students from all teams strive to grow in their abilities that they can one day take with them beyond the field of high school competition. We look forward to hosting a day of great competition and hope that you will join us.

Events:

We will be offering all KHSSL Junior and Senior Speech events. No congress/debate. Students may be triple entered. There will be three preliminary rounds followed by one round of finals.

Fees:

There will be a $9 fee for each entry. ($18 for Duo Acting, Duo Interp, and Improv Duo) Each school is required to supply one judge for every six entries (or fraction thereof). If you are unable to provide enough judges there will be a $35 fee per missing judge. There will be a $10 fee for each dropped entry. Please make checks payable to Graves County High School.

Concessions:

Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase in the Cafeteria. A hospitality room will be set up for judges and coaches.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top six entries in each category/division and sweepstakes trophies will be presented to the top three schools in each division. Teams are permitted unlimited entries in each category, but only the top three will earn sweepstakes points.
