Extemporaneous Speaking Round Robin XXVII

Welcome to the 2025 SOUTHERN BELL FORUM XLIII’s Twenty-seventh Annual National Extemporaneous Speaking Round Robin on the campus of Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. The Forum will be held on Saturday, January 4^th, 2025. And Sunday January 6^th, 2025.

Eleven years ago, the MBA community mourned the sudden and untimely passing of Director of Forensics, Billy Tate. We have named Southern Bell Forum in his honor and welcome the opportunity to continue this tradition that Billy created! As such, it is our simultaneous desire to honor his legacy with this event and to celebrate elite-level extemporaneous speaking.

The tournament organizing committee has worked painstakingly to prepare for this event. Schools from over 25 states have been invited to this year’s Forum and approximately 11 states are typically represented in the Extemporaneous Speaking Round Robin.

The Round Robin is invitation-only and will not accept registrants via tabroom.com.
