The 2024 Viking Invitational will be held at Diablo Valley College; 321 Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.

The Diablo Valley College Speech and Debate Team welcomes you to the first annual Viking Invitational! Our squad has experience hosting middle school, high school, and college level tournaments including the 2024 Community College State Championship and we look forward to hosting your squad as we return to offering competitive opportunities for high school students.

The Viking Invitational will offer novice and open (varsity) divisions for high school students in all events except for congress. We are offering the following events this year:

Important Deadlines:

Friday, Nov. 16th, - Registration and Fees Due

➔ We will offer a limited amount of Hired Judges on a first come first serve basis.

➔Registration deadline occurs at 11:59:59 PM PST.

➔ All registration payments must be RECEIVED no later than this date. If your registration is not received by this deadline, your team’s entries will be immediately dropped.

➔ The DROP DEADLINE for this year’s tournament by 11:59 PM PST.

➔ Any drops made after this deadline will incur the full registration fee penalty for that event.

➔ ALL FEES WILL BE FROZEN ON THIS DATE. Drops after this date will not be refunded. Any outstanding fees owed will need to be taken care of prior to the start of the tournament
