THE LAST DAM TOURNAMENT

Invitation:

Come join us for one last hurrah! The Last Dam Tournament will be held at Beaver High School on Friday, April 25, 2025. This is a cheap, fun, low-key tournament. This is also a great opportunity to recruit less-experienced debaters, including incoming Freshmen.

Registration:

Team and event registration will open on Monday, Feb. 11 at 6 a.m. Registration closes April 24 at 1 p.m.

Events:

Music Theatre Interp., Panhandling, Song Lyric (Spoken Word) Interp., Team SpAr, Panel Discussion, Princeton Extemp., Character SpAr, Impromptu Advertising, Soapbox Sermon, Storytelling, TV News, and P.I.G. Questions Debate.*

Schedule:

Judges' meeting 3:00 p.m.

Round 1: 3:15 p.m.

Round 2: 4:30 p.m.

Round 3: 5:45 p.m.

Awards: 7:15 p.m.

Cost:

$5 per entry

$25 per team

Awards:

Prizes to the top five students in each event

Dinner:

Food truck will be available

Judges:

Each school will need to bring one judge for every four students registered. Seniors may judge.

Double Entry:

Students may double or triple enter at their own risk.
