Groves Falcon Invitational

Hi Everyone!

The Groves Debate Team cordially invites you and your team to the 35th Annual Wylie E. Groves Falcon Debate Invitational to be held virtually on November 1-3, 2024. Policy divisions will run Friday-Sunday, PF and LD divisions will run Saturday-Sunday, and Congressional divisions will run on Saturday only.

DIVISIONS OFFERED:

We are happy to offer MS, Novice, and Varsity PF debate divisions, Novice and Varsity Congressional debate, Novice and Varsity Policy debate divisions, and Novice and Varsity debate divisions in LD.

For Novice Policy debate, we will be requiring that all novice policy teams use the National Debate Coaches Association's (NDCA) packet for novice debaters plus any official updates issued prior to the start of the tournament.

TOPICS:

The National High School Policy Debate Resolution for 2024-2025: Resolved: The United States federal government should significantly strengthen its protection of domestic intellectual property rights in copyrights, patents, and/or trademarks.

The November-December 2024 NSDA Public Forum Resolution: Resolved: The United States should substantially reduce its military support of Taiwan.

The September-October 2024 NSDA Lincoln Douglas Resolution: Resolved: The United States ought to require that workers receive a living wage.
