The Celtic Forensic and Academic Competition Team invite you to participate in our spring tournament in preparation for the upcoming TAPPS State Meet and for the UIL competitions.

Tournament Date: March 1, 2025
Sign-Up Deadline: February 24, 2025

Drop Deadline: February 25, 2025 at 11 p.m.
Notify us of drops as soon as possible.

MOST UIL and TAPPS Speech and most Academic Events will be offered.

One-Day Tournament.

We offer LOW ENTRY FEES, at least two rounds of competition GUARANTEED for each speech event, and
recognition for the top six in each event.

Deadline: Your entry becomes final at 11 p.m. on February 25. Entry fee must be paid for all entries finalized at that time. Any drops after that will still be charged.

Entries: Overall space in each event is limited. If the event is full, please put your students on the wait list. We will do everything we can to make sure they are able to compete. Enter early to guarantee your spot.Schools are not limited on how many students they can enter.

Prose/Poetry: Reader's Choice in all rounds. Documentation will not be checked. TAPPS schools--if you have questions about your documentation, we will do our best to answer!

Cross Entries: Students may enter events that are scheduled at the same time. However, STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THEY DO NOT MISS ANY ROUNDS. Students who cross enter between speech and academic events should do speech first and will not have their testing period extended.

Judges: Schools should provide one judge for every four LD Debaters or part thereof, one judge for every six Speech entries, and one grader/monitor for every academic category they enter. Judge fees will be assessed for missing judges. One judge can cover both LD and Speech.

Meals: We will have some concessions available during the day. There are also several fast-food restaurants within very short driving distance of the school.
