Entry fee is $8/team; each school may have four entries. If you need more than 4, maybe we can make a trade.

You are encouraged to bring trustworthy, growth-oriented advanced debaters to judge novice rounds. For every judge you bring, I’ll waive an entry fee. But please don’t bring any turdy judges; bring people who would like to help the novs grow and get better.

Nota Bene:

1. “Novice” shall be defined as a debater in his or her first year of competition.

2. Powermatching begins in round three.

3. We will allow last-minute Mavericks to win rounds, but the missing fourth person will get the 4 in the round so your mav better be good.

4. Tab is open; coaches should check results before the awards assembly. Once the assembly begins, results are final.

5. We will use the KSHSAA rules for stuff.

6. SJA is a small building, and we may “sell out” before the registration deadline.
